Jayna Benito is an award-winning filmmaker and editor who has experience working in the social media industry - collaborating with clients that have over a million followers across all social media platforms. Her work has been recognized on Forbes, and have worked with companies that have been featured in Vogue. Jayna is a 1st generation college graduate from Chapman University with a B.F.A in Broadcast Journalism & Documentary and a minor in Advertising. Jayna's passion for storytelling started in high school when she won statewide film and photography competitions.
For 8+ years, Jayna has been doing freelance photography and videography. She loves capturing special moments for her clients. She has also collaborated as creative director with musicians, and various brands, including Uniqlo, Holokai Swimwear, and Waileia Jewelry, promoting their products on social media through her photos and branded content.
Jayna's current career goal is to become an editor with a production company focusing on sport or music related content. She aspires to use her love of storytelling to help change the entertainment industry's standards and include more women filmmakers.
